Later that day...

After our family photo shoot we were all very happy to get home into an air conditioned house because it was HOT!! The following pictures will give you an idea on how we beat the heat on Saturday.

Stayed in the shade.


Well, this photo was just too cute to not post. I know the kid is allergic to dogs but he just wouldn't stop following them around the house and giggling. Eventually his mama just gave up trying to keep him away from them and was resigned to deal with the aftermath. He didn't do to bad surprisingly. Yeah! :)

The pool was our saving grace and we even had a little "cabana table" next to it complete with Corn Nuts and Whiskey Sours! It was very refreshing on a hot day like that one.


Next came the real madness. We busted out the slip 'n slide!! It definitely brought back some childhood memories. What fun!
Anthony even got in on the fun and took a few very slow turns going down the slide.

Eventually that diaper malfunctioned and fell right off but we won't show you those shots :) It was a great day full of celebration and relaxation. The best kind right?!
