Spokane to Sandpoint 2011

Josh was asked to participate in the Spokane to Sandpoint relay this year with a team of eleven others and they did awesome! There were a few hiccups along the way; arriving in the nick of time (10 minutes to start), one team member ran with a stress fracture, another received an achilles tendon injury along the way, and on top of it sweltering heat. But they did it, all 185 miles of it and I can't be prouder of my runner. Congrats Josh!!
The team of twelve.
The stop off at Silverwood to ride the roller coaster. I believe this was at around 12:30 at night.

We drove up with my parents but didn't get to see them finish as they were done much earlier than expected. So we stayed awhile and enjoyed Sandpoint. Beautiful city! And we did a little of this...

and a little of this...
and on the way home the boys did a whole lot of this...
