So, I am going to stop procrastinating and finally blog about our trip to Kansas City, MO to see our family. It was a whirlwind of a trip as we decided to go only a few weeks prior to leaving and wouldn't you know it, the kids got really sick right before we left. We took Anthony into the doctor on the Saturday before we left and learned he had a double ear infection. On Monday we decided to take him into the specialist to make sure we had a plan of attack in case he got worse on the trip. After his visit, on our way home, we stopped into Quick Care to get Harper checked out as she had picked up her brother's cold. We didn't want to be those parents who fly with and infant with an ear infection and bless everyone on the plane with a screaming child. Did I mention we were leaving on Tuesday! As a result of God's mercy we made it safely and the kids did marvelously on both flights.
When we arrived at Annye and Paul's house we were so excited to see everyone, be done traveling for a while, and get the chance to soak up some sunshine!! These two became buds right away.

SUNSHINE!!!

Harper's first feel of grass. I'm pretty sure she is a fan.

These two were the cutest and little miss Amelie couldn't get close enough to Harper. Harper loves her little cousins.
