Well, Anthony caught a nasty case of the "Piggy Flu" as my dad calls it. For the first part of the week it seemed pretty mild and all I really noticed was that his eye was a little goopy and he felt rather warm. Yesterday was when the bug hit him hard. His temp shot up to 106 and once again we were off to the ER for the second time this year. The annoying part was that when we got there the nurse didn't believe me when I told her how high our son's temperature was and by the time they checked him it was down to 102 (thank goodness for Tylenol). But, in order to be on the safe side they felt the need to take a few X-rays to check his lungs because he has croup on top of it all, as well as draw blood -- which took three pin pricks and some loss of blood! Needless to say we were all very glad to come home and are happy to report that the little guy is on the mend!!
