First Mother's Day

I am such a blessed woman!! Josh has always made mother's day special for me even tho this was officially my very first one. My day began with Josh sneaking out of bed somehow, bundling up Anthony, and heading out to the store for some doughnuts and roses which they later brought to me in bed.

Later that day we headed over to my parents house where we set up the croquet set for the first time this year. The ladies, as you can tell, were very focused on the game. Honestly, I think the we spent more time posing with the mallets and sitting on them then we did using them for their intended purpose. This might explain why we all lost the game.

Anthony stayed busy and watched from the side lines.

The day was finished off with a wonderful meal made by all the husbands and fathers present. We enjoyed ribs, steak, hot dogs (for the kids), tasty rolls, various salads, and our pick of black bottom pie or lemon cake for dessert.
